Amore is Albuquerque's only certified Neapolitan pizza restaurant. Gabriel and Kimberly Amador are the owners of Amore.

“The idea was born of a chance meeting in 1999, between a Navy girl from Kansas and a guy from Seattle at a party on Pinetamare Beach in Naples, Italy,” Gabriel explains. “As we fell in love, married, and started our family, Kimberly and I realized the romance and passion of Naples had to play a part in our dream of building something together as a family. Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria is a combination of many things we love: a hand-made, healthier style of pizza, Naples, family and our pride in all things local.”

The Amadors are trained, certified and mentored by Roberto Caporuscio, Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (APN) President and star chef at both of his establishments: Keste Pizza & Vino, and Don Antonio by Starita, respectively rated number 1 and 2 best NYC pizzerias by Zagats. APN certification is the highest certification for pizza chefs in Italy, and can only be obtained in Naples, Italy or New York City.



What makes the pizza authentic is more than Gabriel and Kimberly’s training. It has to do with the ingredients, too. In addition to sourcing our flour and canned tomatoes from Italy, we make our own mozzarella cheese, sauce, pizza dough and bread in-house.


We work with local farm and food producers for many of our needs. Included in our circle of providers are: Keen Ridge Farms, Valencia Flour Mill, Tularosa Pecan Company, McGinn's Pistachio Tree Ranch, Quality Foods for our Hatch Green Chiles, Zia Energia, and Pristina Natural, to name a few.


We are committed to those who give of themselves to our community every day. A year-round 10% discount will be extended to all Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, College Students (with ID) and Educators (with ID). This 10% discount is offered to the community of UNM / CNM students, faculty, and staff, including all UNM Hospital personnel.
