Help Aid Italian Earthquake Victims by Eating at Amore.
In response to last week’s devastating earthquake in central Italy, starting Wednesday we will be making a special pizza called The Amatriciana, which will be sold to raise money for the victims.
As part of the international Amatriciana Against The Earthquake effort, proceeds from Amore’s special new pizza, the Amatriciana, featuring Tomato sauce, Hatch red chile, garlic, pancetta, pecorino romano. The cost will be $12, with a portion of proceeds going directly to the Italian Red Cross earthquake relief effort.
“We feel strong connections to that region, including our suppliers, our friends and their families,” says Gabriel Amador, Amore’s owner and certified Neapolitan pizza chef.
Rosalba Maniaci, New Mexico’s Corrispondente Consolare, says “initiatives such as Amatriciana Against the Earthquake are a blessing and I hope that you support them, as I do. Please accept the gratitude from the people and the institutions of Italy for any help you will be able to offer.”
