Amore on Travel Channel and Big 7 Travel

Maybe it’s seasonal wanderlust, or maybe we just love looking at travel pics year round. Whatever the reason, here at Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria, we read a lot of travel media. So imagine how honored we were to be featured recently on not one but two travel websites, TravelChannel.com and Big 7 Travel!

Amore on TravelChannel.com

In their “50 States of Pizza” article, TravelChannel.com named their picks for the best slices in each state, and guess what they picked for New Mexico? Here’s what they said:

Amore Green Jeans Farmery

Amore Neapolitan Pizza is New Mexico’s first and only certified Neapolitan Pizzeria. Head to one of their two Albuquerque locations for Italian-style pizza and New Mexican-style beer.”

That description is accompanied by a photo of our Imperatore Pizza, with Amore truffle cream featuring black and white truffle, fresh mushroom, house-made mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, basil, and finished with prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano.

We love that the Travel Channel mentioned both our Neapolitan pizzas and our New Mexican beer selection. Our Green Jeans location is next door to Santa Fe Brewing, while our West Downtown location has a rotating selection of local beers. And visitors to Boxing Bear Brewing’s downtown location can have Amore delivered directly to their tables. If you’re looking for a hot-pizza-cold-brew pairing, we’re very happy to help.

Amore in Big 7 Travel

Also this summer, Amore was listed as one of the seven best pizzas in Albuquerque by Big 7 Travel. Like TravelChannel.com, Big 7 notes our unique Italian-New Mexican menu, with both classic pies like the Margherita and only-in-New Mexico pizzas such as the Diavola (crushed Hatch red chile, Italian Varzi salame).

Amore food prepBig 7 points out that our ingredients are fresh and all-natural, to which we say, always. We make our mozzarella every morning. Our San Marzano tomatoes come from the Campania region of Italy, meeting the tough standards required for true Neapolitan certification. We serve every pie fresh out of our Stefano Ferrara oven from Naples, Italy, after a quick 60 to 90 seconds.
